Fastruplund ligger i Vammen Sogn, Nørlyng Herred, Viborg Amt, nu Viborg Kommune.
Fastruplund har tidligere været et gods med fæstebønder. Gårdens historie går i alt fald tilbage til 1740, hvor ejeren hed Christen Lychegaard. Bøndergodset bestående af gårde og huse blev frasolgt i 1840.
Fastruplund havde fæstegods i sognene Vammen og Vorning.
